TSPV security clearance required Long 15+12+12 month Federal Government contract Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth Our client, a statutory Federal Government agency in the Defence portfolio that defends Australia against global threats, is seeking multiple Infrastructure Network Engineers to join their team. Duties/Skills: Plan and execute large rollouts of ICT infrastructure within controlled datacentres. Accountable to contribute to the investigation, diagnosis, and resolution of infrastructure problems. Design and implement network/system changes and maintenance routines. Investigate and resolve network problems. Undertake datacentre and/or telecommunications hardware build, maintenance, and management of the environments they are used in. Install and configure network-connected equipment and perform basic fault investigations as they arise. Criteria: Holds a Bachelor degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a similar field. Intermediate understanding of network fundamentals, such as protocols, architectures, devices, topologies, and standards. Knowledge of differing optical fibre and optical link budgets. Basic knowledge and experience of network security. Practical knowledge of data transmission networks and experience with installations and upgrades. Practical knowledge of datacentre designs.
