Infrastructure and Network Consultant – Core Banking (Part-Time), Sydney, Australia About the Role We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure and Network Consultant with a strong background in designing and delivering infrastructure solutions for core banking environments . This part-time role, based in Sydney , offers flexibility while allowing you to contribute to critical banking projects. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Network Design: Architect, implement, and optimize network and infrastructure solutions tailored for core banking systems. Solution Documentation: Develop Solution Design Documents (SDD), High-Level Designs (HLD), and Low-Level Designs (LLD) to support implementation. End-to-End Solution Delivery: Oversee infrastructure project execution, ensuring compliance with banking regulatory and security standards . Cloud & On-Prem Integration: Design hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructure solutions, ensuring seamless integration with core banking applications. Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to APRA CPS 234, PCI DSS, ISO 27001 , and other financial sector security frameworks. Incident Management & Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level support for infrastructure and network-related incidents, ensuring minimal downtime. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with architecture, security, and application teams to align infrastructure strategy with business objectives. Key Requirements Proven Experience: 8+ years in infrastructure and network consulting , with experience in core banking environments . Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, MPLS) . Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) in a banking context. Proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Kubernetes) . Strong background in infrastructure solution design and documentation . Regulatory & Security Knowledge: Familiarity with APRA CPS 234, PCI DSS, ISO 27001 , and other banking security and compliance standards. Project Delivery & Documentation: Experience leading infrastructure projects , delivering HLDs, LLDs, and Solution Design Documents in an Agile or hybrid delivery model . Certifications (Preferred): Cisco (CCNP, CCIE) , AWS/Azure certifications , ITIL , or relevant banking technology certifications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
