About the Position: The Child and Adolescent Health Service have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our fantastic, fun and supportive Work Health Safety Wellbeing (WHSW) team. We are seeking an allied health professional that can provide proactive and effective workplace rehabilitation support to health service employees with work and non-work-related injury, illness, or disease. The role requires great communication and negotiation skills as you will work with workers, supervisors and senior management to assist them to achieve the agreed upon rehabilitation return to work (RTW) goal. Your key responsibilities will include: Develop, coordinate and deliver an injury management service for workers with a work related or non-work-related injury or illness. In consultation with the injured worker, supervisor, and medical practitioners; plan, develop, implement and monitor Return to Work (RTW) programmes. Identify barriers and complex cases to ensure appropriate strategies and interventions are implemented to progress case management. Provide a high-level advisory service to managers, injured workers, unions, HR and safety staff in relation to injury management initiatives. Engage with managers to facilitate the provision of alternative duties to support injury management program initiatives. Deliver injury management education programs as directed.
