St John WA is seeking an Injury Management Support Lead to join our Wellbeing, Safety, and Injury Management team in Belmont on a Permanent Fulltime basis. You will provide comprehensive advice and consultancy services to IMS team members, people leaders and workers on claims and injury processes. What you’ll do: Lead and support IMS team members in managing workplace injury claims and return-to-work processes Provide expert advice to leaders and team members on injury management processes and strategies Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and industry best practices Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, insurers, and medical professionals Coordinate claims management by liaising with insurers, medical professionals, and other stakeholders Oversee records management and reporting for injury claims Develop and implement return-to-work programs for injured personnel Conduct training and mentor team members in injury management best practices Monitor trends and data, providing reports and recommendations for continuous improvement Foster a culture of health, safety, and injury prevention What you’ll need: Tertiary qualification in Allied Health or a related field Experience in a worker’s compensation or insurer setting would be highly regarded Background in corporate, health, community, or commercial sectors Strong negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation including the Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act 2023 and guidance as provided by WorkCover WA/WorkSafe WA Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and leadership abilities What’s in it for you?
