An exciting opportunity in now available for an Innovation Technology Specialist to join our team located in Warrnambool, Victoria. As an Innovation Technology Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating The Midfield Groups growth by integrating technology solutions that optimize productivity and provide a competitive edge. You will be at the forefront of creating innovative training solutions, collaborating across departments and leveraging emerging technologies to develop impactful programs that transform how we train and upskill our workforce. ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Implement the use of Virtual Reality and other assisted technology to enhance training abilities and upskill workforce Work with the HR and Training departments to integrate technologies into the existing training framework, ensuring smooth deployment and user adoption Use technology to design and implement training programs that address skills gaps, enhance employee performance, and increase overall productivity Collaborate with the Training department on the identification, evaluation, and implementation of new training technologies, including VR, AR, AI-driven tools, and other immersive learning platforms Develop personalized learning paths through technology, allowing employees to access training materials and courses that suit their individual development needs Stay up to date on emerging technologies in the training industry and assess their potential impact on workforce development Develop personalized learning paths through technology, allowing employees to access training materials and courses that suit their individual development needs Research, evaluate, and collaborate with external vendors to source and implement innovative training technologies Ensure that all technology-based training tools meet legal and compliance standards, including data privacy and security regulations Safeguard the integrity of VR/AR systems and related technology by implementing security protocols and providing training on best practices SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Proven experience working with innovative learning technologies, especially in the context of training or workforce development Understanding of AI-driven adaptive learning platforms and their application in workforce upskilling Experience with VR/AR platforms (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine, Vuforia, A-Frame) Experience with VR/AR technologies in a training environment is highly preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities Ability to analyze data and generate insights to improve training effectiveness Experience with LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, cloud assess and blackboard learning) for content delivery and tracking Experience with 360 preferred but not essential WHY JOIN US?
