We welcome you to apply today to join our family at Bayview. Responsibilities Handle parts requirements of customers through counter service and outside sales. Meet monthly parts sales objectives and stay aligned with the company's business goals. Maintain a high level of customer service. Conduct face-to-face or via telephone scheduled meetings with potential customers. Deliver parts to customers in accordance with purchases and company policies. Prepare detailed invoices and customer statements. Record lost sales to maximize the MDI program and reduce obsolescence. Follow directives from supervisor. Work closely with inside parts sales team and support personnel to develop strategies and share knowledge regarding customers and products. Assist in inventory cycle counts. Maintain store cleanliness. Monitor the market. Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders, and distributing to sales associates for processing. Follow up on shortages and expedite through reporting to the Parts Manager. Operate a forklift. Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs on your own. Understand and comply with company policies and procedures. Participate in merchandising and promotional activities. Keep up with the latest industry developments by attending meetings, training, and workshops. Qualifications: Valid Driver's license and clean driver's abstract. Outside sales experience with strong consultative sales skills is considered an asset. Exceptional customer service skills. Knowledge of heavy-duty/medium duty truck parts is preferred. Good written and oral communication skills. Detail-oriented and good listening skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. We offer: Competitive pay rates.
