The Opportunity We are seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Manager to lead and manage a dedicated team of Inventory and Supply Officers. The Warehouse and Logistics Manager is responsible for leading and managing Insitu Pacific's inventory holdings, receipt, dispatch and control of third party and customer property. As an expert practitioner, the Warehouse and Logistics Manager will also engage at the operational level actively participating in hands-on warehouse tasks as required. Responsibilities Lead and manage the Inventory and Warehouse team, providing day-to-day direction and coordinating warehouse activities at Insitu Pacific sites. Serve as the key point of contact for internal forums and customer meetings related to warehousing and logistics matters. Provide reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Identify, develop, implement and enhance tools, systems, procedures, work instructions, and templates including MILIS or other customer ERP tools and Costpoint. Co-ordinate and delegate tasking related to Inventory control, shipment of materials (including dangerous goods and ITAR) and provide guidance on delivery problem resolution. Monitor customer allocation and delivery timeframes. Define performance metric requirements, perform trend analysis and take mitigating action to meet performance objectives. Analyse material location and initiate redistribution action. Oversee obsolescence and maintenance requirements related to stock. Ensure that Insitu Pacific's records and systems accurately reflect the status, disposition and condition of all parts in care, custody or control. Coaching and develop Inventory Supply Officers and Storepersons to enhance their skills and performance. Experience/Qualifications Essential Minimum of 10 years' experience in warehouse and inventory management role along with appropriate qualifications or certifications in an inventory or logistics discipline. Proven experience in managing individuals, including task delegation and performance management. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while working to schedule commitments. Strong self-management skills, with the ability to work accurately and independently, prioritising tasks as needed. Proven track record of meeting and adhering to critical deadlines. Strong computer literacy including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. Current manual driver licence. Possession of or ability to obtain licence or ticket in operation of forklift, order picker and similar. Desirable Experience with MILIS, including transactional experience. Familiarity with Inventory Management or ERP tools i.e., Costpoint, SAP etc. Background in a relevant Defence logistics or inventory management role. Demonstrated skills in successfully negotiating contracts / subcontracts. Eligibility Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements. Able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance. You may require a Foreign Work Authorisation (FWA) in order to perform this role.
