About the Role Due to ongoing growth and expansion we are looking to recruit an Insolvency Supervisor in either our Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Canberra office. We operate a collegiate work model where you will work directly with Principals and are actively encouraged and supported to pursue your own career objectives. This role will provide you with exposure to a full range of formal insolvency appointments such as voluntary administrations, liquidation, receiverships and bankruptcy as well as informal engagements such as investigative accounting and restructuring/turnaround engagements. Responsibilities: In conjunction with the appointee and your manager, assist in the administration of formal and informal insolvency matters, including preparation of statutory reports and providing guidance to your direct reports about the day to day requirements of the appointment; Complete investigations into an entity’s finances including the analysis of financial statements, accounting and business records and provide recommendations to your manager as to the outcomes; Correspond with all stakeholders over the phone and in writing, prepare written responses as required; Maintain records and ensure statutory guidelines are met; Be committed to learning and developing your technical understanding of insolvency concepts and developing and growing those skills within the team; Ensure that junior team members are adhering to our standards and processes and that the instructions on the tasks are being followed in a timely manner; Ensure that junior team are provided with additional instructions and guidance as required to assist in the completion of tasks. Requirements: Must have a minimum of 4 years insolvency experience in a similar role with a similar client base; Well-developed insolvency technical knowledge and capable of managing multiple files; Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar field; CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification; ARITA qualified or working towards qualification.
