Inspections Manager - Regional NSW Point to Point Commission Organisation/Entity: Transport For NSW Job category: Administration & Office Support Job location: South Eveleigh, NSW, AU, 2015 Job reference number: 98174 Employment type: Permanent Full-Time Salary range: $147865.0-$165608.0 In this role, you'll: Manage and assist the Senior Manager to deliver state-wide compliance operations to enforce relevant legislation within the point-to-point transport industry. Manage a geographically dispersed team of inspectors that conduct field inspections and compliance activities ensuring compliance with relevant legislation in relation to public passenger vehicles carrying less than 12 passengers. Focus on Regional NSW and require travel for varying durations of time both planned and at short notice to undertake activities ensuring adherence to the Point-to-Point Transport (Taxis and Hire Vehicles) Act 2016. Manage actions, review outcomes and make recommendations on possible investigations, sanctions or other administrative actions. Assist in the development and strategies around inspections and the development of compliance programs. Your excellent stakeholder engagement, management and communication skills, and your understanding of legislation will enable you to manage staff at multiple locations while managing multiple priorities, contentious issues and providing strategic relationships. These skills formed while working in regulatory and compliance sectors will see you excel in the tasks required of this role. You're recognised as a leader and team player who can act as a role model, coach and mentor staff and assist in the training ensuring the competence of the team. You will have strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to manage sensitive issues with discretion. Your previous experience working in a regulatory or compliance environment, ideally in a government organisation or the transport industry is highly valued.
