WHAT YOU’LL DO Reporting to the Instrumentation Manager, this role provides instrumentation services to support air monitoring assessments to take place and enhance our service to clients. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES In-house and onsite service, calibration, repair and testing of analysers and equipment, including client equipment. Assisting with installation and commissioning of instruments and control systems. Developing procedures to test electronic components and systems. Preparation of service & calibration reports. Assist field team with instrument maintenance and calibration as well as testing and tagging. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR A candidate who knows instrumentation and understands how this technology can deliver outcomes. A relevant technical qualification within instrumentation or electrical/electronic fields. Relevant work experience with Air Quality Monitoring Station (AQMS) and Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) Instrumentation. Strong knowledge of instrumentation, in particular Horiba, Testo, Durag, Sick, ThermoFisher, Ecotech, Environment S.A. Understanding of the Australian regulatory environment. YOU MUST ALSO HAVE High level technical, practical, analytical, investigative, analysis, and problem-solving skills and experience. Demonstrated expertise and aptitude in maintenance engineering and technical work, and sound knowledge and proficiency in the use/application of workshop practices. An enquiring mindset and initiative to seek out opportunities. In addition, the successful candidate must: Have a valid driver's licence (probationary licence is acceptable) Be comfortable with working at heights Have a general level of fitness and the ability to lift loads of 25kg Able to climb 12 sets of stairs and/or climb a 30m cage ladder. Have a willingness to travel (estimated at an average of 5 nights away per month) The salary range for this role is $72,000-$75,000.
