About the Role As part of our Insurance Accounts Team, your primary purpose will be to ensure accurate and timely recording of received payments in the system, monitor and facilitate the prompt collection of outstanding payments, and address and resolve account-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner. 360 Key Responsibilities: Daily Receipting: Ensure the accurate and timely processing of daily receipts and payments, maintaining up-to-date records. Manage Unallocated Cash: Proactively manage and minimize unallocated cash balances, ensuring proper allocation to respective accounts. Follow-up on Overdue Accounts: Actively monitor and follow up on overdue accounts, taking appropriate actions to ensure timely payment. Collaboration with Underwriters: Work closely with underwriters to investigate and resolve any discrepancies related to policies or payments. Resolve Account Queries: Address and resolve account-related inquiries from clients, ensuring prompt and accurate responses. Collaboration with Accountants: Collaborate with accountants to ensure accurate and timely trust bank reconciliations, ensuring alignment of financial records. Successful Candidate Will Have: Prior experience in accounts receivable is highly desirable. Prior experience in credit control is highly desirable. Background in insurance or insurance-related industries is an advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Team player. Fast learner.
