The Company: Our client has been servicing the insurance industry for 25+ years, providing specialised insurance building repairs across Australia and New Zealand following an insurable event such as fire, flood, impact, storm and malicious damage.Skills and Experience Strong technical building knowledge with a qualified Carpentry Trade background preferred Strong time and organisational management skills with the ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment Excellent communication skills with the ability to be empathetic to the needs of the customer Insurance industry building experience is considered an advantage but not essential Computer skills including experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Role and Responsibilities: Conduct site assessment and quotations for property damaged by insurable events, such as flood, fire etc. Assess damage by collecting information to provide accurate causation reports Deliver accurate quotations An understanding of BCA and Australian standards is preferred Liaise between insurance companies and insured homeowners. Assist customer service staff with client-related queries.
