Job Description
The firm is regarded as having one of the top Medico-Legal practices in Brisbane, with several Partners working across indemnity, negligence, regulatory inquiries, disciplinary investigations and civil claims, acting for public and private hospitals, doctors and allied health professionals. The Partner this role reports to works across Medical + General Insurance and the split of work for this role will be approx. 60% medico : 40% other insurance lines. We are looking for a Lawyer with 2-4 years PQE in Insurance Law. Having some experience in medical negligence would naturally be ideal, but if you are working in Professional Indemnity or Public Liability and want to transition into Medical, there is a strong team of Senior Associate and Special Counsel Lawyers here to help train and mentor you.
