This firm is known for their commitment to client service and legal excellence, they are recognised as leaders across their key areas of expertise including insurance, commercial disputes and family law. Your New Role As a senior member of the Insurance and Litigation Practice, you will take ownership of complex legal matters from start to finish, providing strategic advice on indemnity, liability, quantum, costs and overall case strategy. In addition to conducting legal research and drafting legal correspondence, you will liaise with clients and witnesses, independent experts, counsel and opposing lawyers and mediators. This role will also see you preparing briefs and instructing counsel during court hearings, mediations and conferences as well as appearing at court, conferences and mediations and negotiating settlements. Your Skills Profile 5+ years PAE in insurance and litigation; Experience in recovery claims and plaintiff insurance highly favoured; Ability to manage competing priorities effectively; Genuine interest and ability to mentor and supervise junior practitioners; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Highly organised, able to plan and prioritise work to meet key deliverables; A professional, client focused and ethical approach; A resilient nature with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
