The Team Our Insurance & Health team is headed up by 32 industry leading principals across six states. Within the insurance space our award-winning team is known for producing high quality advice and delivering exceptional client service. The team handles claims across all major classes of insurance and acts for the biggest names in the insurance industry, both locally and overseas. The Role Due to growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paralegal to join our liability team on a full-time basis in Brisbane. Duties of this role will include: reviewing and summarising medical records, reports and disclosure; preparing lists of documents; preparing briefs to Counsel; drafting court documents, letters of instruction to experts (liability and medical) and the like; data entry; managing a variety of tasks between various fee-earners; managing and maintaining filing systems; managing e-trial disclosure and undertaking document review; managing priorities and work flow; adhering to client standards and KPIs; conducting legal research and analysis; additional adhoc tasks. About You This role is ideal for a candidate who possesses the following qualities: a positive attitude and enthusiasm for supporting a talented and dynamic team; proven ability to meet daily chargeable hour targets; exceptional verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detail and accuracy; adaptability within a fast-paced environment; ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
