Asset Inspect is a leading and trusted service provider of insurance risk surveys and building replacement cost assessments for insurers, brokers and property owners nationwide. Currently in an exciting growth phase, we are seeking highly motivated and dynamic individuals to join our driven and close-knit team. About the Role: This is an excellent opportunity if you possess transferrable skills and an eagerness to learn about property risk inspections. Individuals who may not have direct experience are welcome to apply. Comprehensive technical training and mentorship will be provided. To be successful in this role, you will be someone who enjoys being on the road full-time, and have a strong desire and ability to travel regularly, both regionally and interstate. You will be conducting site visits every day, across a broad range of commercial and industrial properties – no two days are the same. You will play a crucial role in assessing and mitigating risk for our clients, documenting these on-site findings, data and photographic evidence in high-quality reports. Key Responsibilities: Conduct building inspections of commercial and industrial properties around Australia (metro, regional and remote locations). Prepare detailed reports with findings, including building construction details, existing fire safety systems, and potential risk hazards, and recommend relevant risk improvement solutions. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes. You thrive on extensive travel, and are comfortable with regular trips to regional and interstate locations. You're a confident communicator, with strong writing skills. You can produce clear, concise, technically accurate reports. You are IT-proficient, and are willing to learn and adapt to new software. You can think on your feet, assess situations and implement effective solutions. You enjoy building relationships with clients, to consistently deliver high-quality client experiences. You can work independently, while also being a team player. You are highly-organised and have attention-to-detail. You are an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or have permanent residency status. You hold a valid Australian driver’s license. You can successfully pass a National Police Check. Nice To Haves: Qualifications in Risk Management, Insurance, Loss Adjusting, Underwriting, Business, Real Estate, Property, or a related field. Prior property inspection experience.
