Are you ready to bring your skills and compassion to a role that truly impacts lives? We're looking for an Intake Worker to join the Housing Team in Logan. If you're proactive, empathetic, and passionate about creating positive change, this role is for you! Starts in March for a 3 month contract with potential to extend for the right candidate! SCHADs Level 4 What You'll Do Be the first point of contact for individuals and families at risk of homelessness. Conduct assessments, provide advice, and connect clients with the support they need. Work collaboratively with a team to deliver person-centred, flexible, and practical support. Help maintain program resources, manage referrals, and assist in brief case management interventions. What You'll Bring A relevant qualification (Certificate IV, Diploma, or Degree in Human Services preferred). Experience in conducting assessments and working with individuals facing complex challenges (e.g., tenancy, mental health, family violence). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A values-driven approach, with a passion for working collaboratively to foster inclusion and diversity. Current Blue Card, First Aid Certificate, and Driver's Licence (or willingness to obtain).
