The Aged Care Intake and Scheduling Officer works within the guidelines set by the Single Aged Care System (SAS) Assessment Services Contract Statement of Requirements, the My Aged Care Assessment Manual 2024, and the Aged Care Act 1997 and any amendments. The Permanent opportunity is located in Camden and the Temporary opportunities are site negotiable. These positions are community-based and you will be required to undertake home visits within SWSLHD District. Knowledge of and/or experience with My Aged Care and the Single Assessment Service Excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, including customer service skills Sound computer literacy with competency in Word and Excel Demonstrated high level of organisational and time management skills with an ability to set priorities within defined time frames and monitor/achieve workflow outcomes Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as an effective member of the team with minimal supervision Completion of, or willingness to complete the 'Administration Goal' in MAClearning. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
