About The Role We are seeking an Integrated Logistics Support Manager, with practical experience, to manage integrated logistic support acquisition and sustainment activities for key Defence contracts. This role involves all aspects of integrated logistics support, with a primary focus on supply and training support for critical communication systems. While the role is currently based in Canberra, there is an opportunity for it to be based in our Head Office in Perth. Key Responsibilities As Integrated Logistics Support Manager you will be responsible for the practical ‘hands on’ leadership and management of integrated logistic support and obsolescence programs within the Blacktree Technology portfolio. This includes: Lead and manage obsolescence and integrated logistic support acquisition and sustainment program activities:logistic support requirements definition, analysis, design, synthesis, implementation, verification, validation and test;- maintenance planning;- supply support and subcontractor management;- packaging, handling, storage, and transportation;- training support;- training, and support and test equipment;- technical data and publications;- personnel and resources; and- facilities. Manage Contractor Managed Commonwealth Assets (CMCA), Government Furnished Materiel (GFM), and Contractor Furnished Materiel (CFM). Utilise, manage, and develop a proficiency with, Blacktree Technology and customer integrated logistic support systems, e.g. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Military Integrated Logistics Information System (MILIS). Develop and implement comprehensive integrated logistic support documents and artefacts, to required quality and industry policies and standards, and aligned with program and Blacktree Technology goals and objectives. Support management teams plan, monitor, control, and deliver programs complying with established requirements and constraints; resource, cost, and time budgets; risk profiles; quality standards; and performance indicators. Lead, coach, mentor, and develop appointed teams, delegate and assign tasks, manage resources and subcontractors, and foster collaboration to drive project success. Comply with, and demonstrate a commitment to improving, Blacktree Technology integrated management systems and customer management systems when required. Comply with work health safety, environment, security, and trade control regulations, policies, and practices. Communicate effectively and maintain relationships with all stakeholders. Contribute to Blacktree Technology operations and the capture and conversion of future business, e.g. bids, tenders, and proposals. Undertake travel within Australia and internationally as required. Our Ideal Candidate Blacktree Technology invites applications from candidates who can satisfy many of the following criteria: An experienced Integrated Logistics Support Manager, possessing a broad integrated logistic support and constituent support element knowledge, particularly supply and training support. Large Australian Defence engineering and technology program experience, or exposure, and is skilled in planning, organising, prioritising, executing tasks, and developing contract artefacts and deliverables, with limited resources. Innovative, resourceful, adaptable, and thrives in dynamic environments, can think critically and strategically, confidently making decisions and crafting solutions amidst uncertainty. Proactive and hands-on, can lead initiatives, challenge established practices to drive continuous improvement, collaborate and communicate effectively with senior leadership, team members, customers, and suppliers. Familiar with trade control regulations and policies, especially the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulation (EAR), and Defence Trade Controls Act. Proficient with Military Integrated Logistics Information System (MILIS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly SAP. An Australian citizen, or with the right to work in Australia, capable of obtaining a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance; this is essential.
