The role UMFC currently has an opportunity for an Interchange Practitioner to join our team in a Part-time capacity (22.50 hours per week). You will support children and individuals with a disability to achieve their goals, enhancing their community participation, and promoting their safety and development, particularly in home-based settings. You will apply your expertise in working with children with a disability to make a meaningful impact. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records, comply with legal and organisational requirements, and foster positive, respectful relationships with participants, families, and colleagues through strong interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills. Your Experience A Certificate III qualification in Disability or Human Services (or equivalent experience in a related field) is required. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals, ensuring positive and respectful interactions with participants, families, and colleagues from all walks of life. Experience and understanding of community/cultural dynamics, ensuring inclusive and sensitive engagement with individuals from varying backgrounds.
