The Interface/Rule Book Manager is accountable to the Manager, Rail Accreditation and Assurance for: Providing leadership in the development, review and implementation of the rail operational systems assurance function to ensure compliance with Network Rules. Coordinating and managing the development, execution and maintenance of rail Interface Agreements. Coordinating and undertaking audits and investigations to ensure compliance with Operational Procedures, Rules and Standards. Coordinating the Rail Commissioner's Rule Book Committee and manage agreed actions. If you're interested in a career that really moves, we'd love to hear from you! Qualifications/Licenses Previous experience in a rail operations or engineering environments is required. Knowledge and working experience of the Rail Safety National Law (SA) Act 2012 , Work Health and Safety Act 2012 and risk and safety management principles is required. Special Conditions The successful candidate will be required to provide a National Police Check (NPC) prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years. This position has been identified as a Rail Safety Worker and has been classified as Category 4 Non-Safety Critical Worker. All Rail Safety Workers must carry out their duties in accordance with the Rail Safety National Law (SA) Act 2012 and as outlined within the Rail Commissioner's Safety Management System. Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required. Remuneration ASO7 - $108,109 to $116,864 pa + superannuation.
