The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference in the life of an older person, right here in Hunter. We’re looking for a volunteer to assist taking residents (on our bus with a staff member) to a local Children’s Centre, helping them to engage with the children at the preschool, sing, dance, read stories, play games, etc. A Working with Children Check is required. Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit and for yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. Requirements 18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare plus NDIS Worker Screening Check • The visits run fortnightly on Monday mornings, leaving HC from 9:00 am onwards and returning in time for lunch at approximately 11:45 am. #J-18808-Ljbffr
