You must have the availability to work 7:30am – 3:30pm Monday to Friday (and occasional weekend or public holiday shifts according to business needs). As part of the recruitment process, this role requires a pre-employment check for final candidates. If you are successful for this role, you will be required to obtain a National Police Check. RECRUITMENT PROCESS AND KEY DATES If your application is successful, you may be invited to complete a video screening interview as part of the recruitment process. If your application is progressed, you will be invited to attend an in-person interview with the hiring team including a practical assessment. If you are successful for this role, you will be required to attend a 2-day Welcome induction. About this work area As an Interior Design Co-worker, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Using your passion for home furnishing to contribute to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market. Communicating and implementing your home furnishing knowledge to create and inspire home furnishing solutions for customers (involving customer visits) through creating in-room settings, homes, vignettes, and sales support areas that reflect the IKEA identity. Stimulating and increasing the interest in home furnishing through constantly showing new and inspiring solutions that motivate people to visit the IKEA store frequently. Assisting in building furniture and setting up new room-sets when required. Using the IKEA product range to show the distinct and different styles that appeal to many individual tastes and needs within the local market. Reflecting the IKEA Brand identity by creating visual impact in all commercial, sales support, and co-worker areas. Who you are As an Interior Design Co-worker, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Using your passion for home furnishing to contribute to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market. Communicating and implementing your home furnishing knowledge to create and inspire home furnishing solutions for customers (involving customer visits) through creating in-room settings, homes, vignettes, and sales support areas that reflect the IKEA identity.
