Northern Health is seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Adult Emergency Physicians (FACEMs) to join the Northern Hospital Emergency Department. About the Role: The Emergency Medicine Physician provides high quality Emergency Care to patients presenting to the Northern Hospital Emergency Department (ED). They will be involved with the supervision and training of Junior Medical Officers (JMOs) working in the Emergency Department and work with multidisciplinary teams both on the ED floor and with the inpatient teams to deliver the best possible care for our patients. To be successful in this role you will have: Experience and a good working knowledge of the day-to-day functioning of an Australian Emergency Department including departmental flow and hospital access. A proven ability to work safely in an Emergency Department setting with demonstrated safe clinical decision making and technical proficiency in accordance with the NSQHS standards and ACEM requirements. Demonstrated leadership and innovative problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels of staff and patients, with a focus on diversity and inclusivity to reflect the communities that we serve.
