Job Description
We are looking for an internal salesperson for our busy Sunbury branch. This position would be best suited to candidates with experience from within the wholesale industry – such as Electrical Wholesalers, Plumbing Merchants, Tool Shops & Builders Merchants. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to work within a small team in a fast-paced office environment. Key duties include dealing with customer enquiries and orders, supplier liaison, stock control, and proactive sales activities. This is a full-time position. Full support, guidance, and training are assured. Duties: Processing quotations & sales orders for customers. Working closely with a large customer base, ensuring orders are completed accurately. Increasing the turnover and profit of the branch through the development of both existing and new customer accounts. Assisting on the trade counter and handling incoming telephone calls. Managing stock levels and ordering stock from manufacturers. Ideal person: Wholesale experience is ideal. High attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Package: Attractive base salary (negotiable based on experience). Generous 25-day holiday entitlement + bank holidays. Company pension. On-site parking. Schedule: Monday to Friday.
