Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on Financial Accountant to join our small, dynamic team and support the efficient management of our financial operations. Working alongside senior and experienced Finance team members , this role presents an exciting opportunity for someone with strong accounting skills to contribute to a meaningful mission while helping scale the business.Key Responsibilities Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings. Support the Financial Controller in preparing financial statements and reports. Prepare and submit BAS, FBT, and GST returns, liaising with tax specialists as needed. Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support business growth. Oversee accounts payable and receivable, process invoices and payments, and manage payroll. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations, supporting the Finance Manager as required. Skills & ExperienceCPA/CA qualified (or working towards) preferred, ideally with experience in a chartered accounting environment. Manufacturing experience is highly regarded. Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software is an advantage. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with strong prioritization skills and the ability to work independently.
