International Institutional Investor Melbourne, Victoria, Australia We have an amazing opportunity to join one of the most respected global institutional investors in the market, specialising in Private Debt, Private Equity, Infrastructure, and Listed Equities. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in the investment and portfolio management operations of this fund's stellar Private Debt team – focusing on Australian Diversified Credit investment strategies. Investment Analyst Responsibilities Assisting in portfolio management and hedging of the credit portfolios Assisting in developing views on market direction and portfolio positioning, as well as supporting execution of strategies Assisting in management of liquidity, trading and day-to-day funding needs of the credit portfolios Due diligence and credit analysis of new debt investments and performing periodic credit reviews of existing exposures; preparation and presentation of credit assessment memorandum to the Debt Investment Committee Assisting with investor reporting, business development and fundraising efforts Ideal Candidate Experience 2-5 years financial markets experience, preferable in leveraged finance, private credit, trading etc. Direct experience with credit analysis Understanding of drivers of portfolio performance and analytics Qualifications Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or Accounting CFA or studying towards CFA/FINSIA or CA/CPA or other post graduate qualifications (viewed favourably) Business Knowledge Understanding of financial products, markets, instruments and intermediaries Working knowledge of capital markets Familiarity with Bloomberg and/or Aladdin Technical Knowledge Analytical numerical ability Sound business judgement and acumen Developed Excel and Powerpoint skills Time management skills and ability to cope with competing priorities Communication skills (articulate across verbal, written and presentation formats) If this sounds like you, please apply to learn more!
