The Opportunity As a Melbourne based Investment Analyst in our Fixed Interest and Cash team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management of internal portfolios which span government bond, cash, and credit securities and the supervision of external investment mandates. Key Responsibilities Conducting detailed assessments of market conditions. Conducting credit and sector research, making trade recommendations and supporting the investment process and portfolio construction Monitoring and managing existing portfolio positions against risk parameters Trading of cash, credit, government and derivative securities in line with approved delegations and limits. Assisting with the identification and assessment of potential new managers and investment strategies Assisting with mandate design and negotiations for the appointment of managers Monitoring, review and ongoing relationship management of the Fund's current managers; Contributing to discussions on asset allocation and asset selection across fixed interest and cash assets Contributing to regular reporting to senior management and the Investment Committee About You As a self-motivated, curious, and detail-oriented Investment Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to work with one of the best investment teams in the industry. You are a passionate and driven individual and will bring: 2+ years of experience in financial markets, preferably in credit research, investment analysis, or external manager research. Relevant tertiary qualifications and well-developed analytical skills High degree of numeracy and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to balance multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency in IT skills, including MS Office. Coding, SQL database and Bloomberg experience will be looked upon favourably.
