Job Description

Investment Data Analyst, Investment Data & Analytics Be part of the Investment Analytics & Insights team which provides Cbus with reliable, accurate and timely investment data and reporting to inform investment operations and investment decisions.The role supports investments teams as the first point of contact for data and system issues, providing day to day support for the Investment Data Platform and associated reporting.The role provides plenty of opportunity to contribute to data initiatives and involves collaborating closely with internal teams as well as external technology suppliers and data providers to deliver sound, robust, well governed data and reporting solutions across the Investments department.Your success for this role will rely upon your: Experience with interpreting, manipulating and analysing data in relational databases using SQL to ensure data integrity, accuracy and completeness, including writing queries in SQL to draw out insights. Knowledge of statistics and packages for analysing datasets (e.g., Excel, Python, etc.) With a preference additionally for: Understanding of investment data and processes, including multi-asset class structures at an investment manager or superannuation fund; Experience using collaboration tools such as Sharepoint, Confluence, Jira & Teams and exposure to Business Intelligence tools e.g., Power BI.
