Bring your authentic and passionate self to this exceptional role #careerswithimpact As the Investment Manager – Unlisted Asset Management, you will be responsible for ongoing asset management of unlisted assets at HESTA across Infrastructure, Property and Private Equity. The role will have primary responsibility across asset management functions but also contribute to Investment Management functions within the Unlisted Assets team. Key responsibilities include: Leading the development and creation of asset strategy and asset management governance plans. Monitoring and oversight of Unlisted Assets including quarterly reporting. Implementation of agreed asset management governance plans across Infrastructure, Property and Private Equity asset classes. Assist Asset Class Investment Managers in managing external investment relationships, including oversight of investments and performance to ensure consistency with strategy. Exercising governance rights and oversight through Advisory Committee, Board or Board observer positions. Leading, coaching and mentoring team members within a matrix organisational structure. About You With a preference for asset management over acquisitions, you will ideally have significant experience in overseeing investments in infrastructure, property or private equity. You will have experience working on a range of asset management deliverables within an investment context, including the ability to co-ordinate multiple stakeholders and workstreams with strict deadlines. Key technical skills include setting and implementing asset strategies, financial modelling, understanding business financials and overseeing investment valuations. Excellent communication skills are essential in this role, particularly to engage senior and C-Suite executives. You will be able to demonstrate your abilities with problem solving, critical thinking, proactivity and being resilient within the context of managing investments in Unlisted Assets. Preference for the role to be based in Melbourne but open to Sydney.
