They manage various strategies across the capital structure, including syndicated leveraged loans and high yield bonds to privately negotiated senior secured debt and mezzanine investments, asset-based leasing, and private equity. Position Description: In line with their growth strategy, they are now seeking an Investment Principal to join their Private Credit team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have prior experience at another investment firm (private credit) and some background in a leveraged finance team or something similar. They will demonstrate strong commercial skills and quantitative ability, modelling skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. They will be an entrepreneurial and self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and achievement drive, being a proactive and analytical thinker. Responsibilities: Commercial focus - staying on top of market trends and searching for new areas of business Conducting detailed business due diligence and evaluating deal opportunities to provide a recommendation to senior members of the team Conducting financial analysis, including developing financial models and undertaking detailed valuation analysis for new and existing investments Negotiating documentation with counterparties Preparing and presenting materials for discussion with the investment committee Interacting with management teams and key stakeholders Monitoring investments and sector trends Providing guidance and support to junior members of the team Candidate Profile: Experience in private credit direct investments Passionate about investing and eager to learn Excellent technical skills Excellent presentation and communication skills Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment Please apply to learn more!
