Key Responsibilities: Refactor legacy Java codebase to follow modern object-oriented practices. Design and implement comprehensive testing (for e.g. unit, component, integration, blackbox). Enable local development by configuring the application to run on laptops. Investigate and configure Control-M to run locally, if feasible. Explore containerization of the application, subject to infrastructure constraints. Integrate the application into MS Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with the existing Java developer to share knowledge and ensure smooth transitions. Required Skills: Strong expertise in modernizing Java applications and refactoring legacy code.
