About the role: Vidacorp is looking for a Junior Account Manager to manage a key retailer account during a period of exciting growth. The successful candidate must have previous experience in pharmacy and/or discount department stores and a proven track record as a high-level sales performer. With strong drive, business acumen, and strong attention to detail, you will be responsible for taking the brand categories to the next level. This role requires a dynamic, driven individual with proven account and marketing experience and excellent communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment. The ideal candidate will help foster a culture that encourages new ideas and fresh thinking, driving growth within the business. Role & Responsibilities: Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and apply it to drive business growth and profitability. Utilize B2B sales experience within FMCG, Discount Department Store, or Pharmacy environments to manage and grow accounts (minimum of 2 years’ experience required). Leverage proven experience with high-growth FMCG brands to successfully increase sales and revenue. Lead project management initiatives to ensure timely and efficient delivery of sales objectives. Build and develop effective business relationships, both internally and externally, to support long-term growth. Analyze consumer insights, market trends, and competitor strategies to make data-driven recommendations to management. Manage and monitor sales targets, ensuring accurate sales forecasts and achievement of goals. Conduct sales data analysis to optimize performance and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with the retail and marketing teams to implement retail strategies and ensure proper execution of retail materials (POS, marketing plans, etc.). Demonstrate highly developed account management skills to maintain and improve client satisfaction and performance. Manage client budgets and conduct account reconciliations, ensuring financial accuracy. Maintain high organizational standards by setting clear sales targets, forecasting, and developing actionable plans and strategies. Make informed, data-driven decisions to steer sales growth and improvements. Take on Key Account Management responsibilities for the account and participate in strategy meetings, providing local market feedback, pricing insights, and sales requirements. Oversee POS project management from creation to in-store execution ensuring no deadlines are missed. Employ solution-based selling techniques to deliver innovative sales solutions that align with client needs and business objectives. Skills & Experience: Thorough understanding of background systems & programs associated with Australian retail and FMCG companies. Demonstrated success in achieving budgets and strong financial interpretation skills. Experience in marketing highly regarded. Sound experience working with POGs. Ability to operate autonomously, with a proactive, results-focused working style and a clear flexibility. Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, with strong Microsoft Excel skills essential. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong problem-solving and influencing ability. An ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and ambiguous environment.
