About the Role: This role directly supports the GM of a building and maintenance company, focusing on financial and accounting functions. The GM oversees key client accounts and back-office operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.Roles and Responsibilities: Manage client accounts and ensure timely financial communication. Prepare and issue invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding accounts. Maintain work-in-progress (WIP) reports and profit-and-loss (P&L) summaries for key projects. Update accounting and project management systems with financial data. Assist with accounts payable, payroll processing, and financial reconciliations. Perform general administrative tasks related to financial operations. Liaise with clients and stakeholders regarding billing and financial matters. Support budgeting and expense tracking for company projects. Complete ad hoc accounting tasks as required. What you'll need to succeed: Xero accounting software experience (MUST).
