Junior Accountant (full time or part time - Sutherland Shire) 20th January, 2025 This reputable boutique accounting firm has a modern office and the most up-to-date software, Xero, XPM, Nowinfinity, Suit files and Carbon. The firm is highly organised, 100% cloud-based, contemporary and progressive. The client base is small businesses and high-net-worth individuals.This is a sole owner firm with 7 staff with low staff turnover. It is a reputable firm, with the Partner trained within a Top Tier firm. The firm is passionate about what they do and they do it well.As a Junior Accountant, duties include: Preparation of tax returns for companies, individuals, partnerships Preparation of BAS and IAS Calculations for CGT, GST, and FBT Preparation of financials Supporting tax compliance processes and account reconciliations Skills and personal attributes: Be enthusiastic, detail-oriented and eager to learn. Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting or finance 6 months + of experience in an accounting firm Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Why Join Us?
