Small but growing IT consultancy looking for a junior to mid-level business analyst to work in a variety of South Australian local IT projects. Our client is a leading IT consultancy firm dedicated to delivering innovative technology solutions to their clients. They pride themselves on a collaborative and dynamic work environment, where every team member's contribution is valued. Anticipated duration initially 2 to 3 months (ASAP) with possibility of becoming a permanent employee if you are the right fit for the role. 5 hours per day and 37.5 hours per week. Adelaide CBD location. Adelaide based candidates only. This role requires the candidate to be in the office flexibly , so please apply if you are fluid in terms of office days. $55 to $75 per hour base plus 11% superannuation on an hourly rate contract, 37.5 hours (15% casual loading included). The rate of pay is aligned with skills, experience, or expertise in functional requirement specifications experience, project experience and years as a Junior Business Analyst. All applicable award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances and superannuation for this role. National police check required for this role so please apply in advance. Position Overview Our client needs a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating technical specifications and functional requirements and will play a key role in bridging the gap between our clients' needs and our technical team. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients to gather and document business requirements. Develop detailed technical specifications and functional requirements. Work closely with the development team to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly. Assist in the creation of project documentation, including user manuals and training materials. Participate in project meetings and provide updates on progress. Conduct data analysis to support business decisions and identify areas for improvement. Assist in the testing and validation of new systems and features. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in a business analyst role, preferably within an IT consultancy. Strong understanding of technical specifications and functional requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Skills: Experience with project management tools and methodologies. Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC). Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
