Job Description
Junior Client & Tax Accountant- Carlton ! We are seeking a Junior Client & Tax Accountant to join a smaller team, where you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and supporting clients with various financial and tax services. Key Responsibilities: Manage SMSF (Self-Managed Super Funds) for clients Process family trusts , partnerships , and individual tax returns Prepare and lodge annual financial statements Ensure compliance with fringe benefits tax regulations Provide tax planning and advisory services, including updates on tax legislation Handle capital gains tax reporting and planning Prepare monthly financial statements Complete BAS and GST preparation and lodgement Support financial forecasting and budgeting What We’re Looking For: Strong working knowledge of MYOB , Xero , Word , and Excel Enthusiasm to learn and grow within the field of tax and accounting Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Previous experience or familiarity with tax preparation is a plus, but we offer comprehensive tax training What We Offer: Ongoing tax and accounting training to enhance your skills Support in achieving your CA or CPA qualifications , with financial subsidies Exposure to tax planning , cashflow forecasting , and business advisory services A negotiable salary package based on experience and qualifications Join us and gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment, where you’ll be developed into a well-rounded accounting professional with opportunities to grow in your career.
