Scoglio Law has an exciting role for a Junior Commercial Litigation Solicitor (1+ - 3 years PAE) to join our boutique inner-city law firm! About the role The role is a broad commercial litigation role where you will provide support and assistance to our senior practitioners on larger court matters. Your duties will include but not be limited to: Drafting advices, pleadings and prepare matters for hearing; Insolvency matters, bankruptcy and company liquidations; Provide support and assistance to our Principal and Consultant Solicitor, on larger court matters; Have exposure to all aspects of the litigation process from taking the client’s instructions to appearing in court; Case based Legal Research for the senior practitioners; Assist with business development and marketing initiatives. Skills we value: To be successful in this role, you will need the following: Experience working in Commercial Litigation, particularly Dispute Resolution, highly regarded (1-3yrs PAE); Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; Strong research and drafting skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to meet deadlines; A desire to learn and develop professionally; Full Australian working rights.
