We are currently seeking a Junior Control Systems Engineer specializing in SCADA who will develop to become a key part of the Metso BMH Engineering team. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Learn to design and configure SCADA systems to conform to operational requirements and required standards. Learn to develop and integrate SCADA system changes to production environments. Develop skills in PLC, HMI, and SCADA. Develop skills in IT/OT operations. Work as part of a team of Control System Engineers. Participate in team collaboration and knowledge management. WHO YOU ARE: Essential Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a technical field or approaching graduation in a related discipline. Minimum 5 years’ experience or demonstrated capability in engineering, data analytics, technical support, or operational management. Experience with programming languages, operations, and dashboard development to support data-driven decision-making. Strong experience developing standard operating procedures and other documentation. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly motivated, proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn. Able to swiftly adapt to and learn new technologies. Proactive in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and process automation. Ability to work under pressure and maintain focus on task completion. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Fluent and literate in English language. Customer service mindset. Desirable Experience: Ideally has experience in IT, electrical, or mining sectors, or familiarity with SCADA environments and transition processes. Experience working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues effectively. Experience with Power BI. Experience of enterprise data management. WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
