Job Description
Emerald is an Australian leader in designing, manufacturing and distributing smart, sustainable products. As our business expands through product diversification and market growth, we are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance Team and contribute to Australia’s energy-efficiency industry. The Role Assist in cashflow forecasting, invoice reconciliation, and trade finance audits. Support financial reporting, management accounts, and insights. Help manage statutory returns (BAS, FBT), expense claims, and credit card processes. Collaborate with teams across the business to ensure smooth financial operations. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Work alongside offshore AP and AR team members to provide support and escalation. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree (or working towards) in Accounting/Finance. CA or CPA part-qualified or working towards qualification. 3 years’ experience in a hands-on finance role. Exposure to an inventory-based business. Proficiency in accounting software Xero. Exposure to cashflow management and financial reporting. Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
