Join Our Growing Team – Junior Information Security Officer Location: North Sydney, Australia Job Type: Full-time The Role: We are seeking a motivated Junior Information Security Officer to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring information security professional to gain hands-on experience in managing information security processes and training to become an Information Security Auditor. You will be working alongside experienced compliance professionals, assisting in maintaining and enhancing our information security framework while developing the skills needed to conduct audits in compliance with ISO 27001 and other relevant standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist in implementing and managing information security policies and procedures. Monitor compliance with information security standards, including ISO 27001. Conduct risk assessments and assist in developing risk mitigation strategies. Support internal and external audits related to information security. Stay updated with industry trends, threats, and best practices in cybersecurity. Participate in training programs to become a qualified Information Security Auditor. Assist in client engagements related to information security compliance and audits. What We’re Looking For: A degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Basic understanding of information security principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Eagerness to learn and develop expertise in information security auditing. Previous experience or internships in cybersecurity, compliance, or risk management (preferred but not required).
