Join Vertical Scope Group’s (VSG) Professional Services Division as we are securing highly skilled and competent, NV1, NV2 and TS PV cleared, Junior, Mid-level and Senior Network Engineers to join our award-winning team in supporting our Defence and National Intelligence Community customers. About You Hold a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields. Strong understanding of network fundamentals, such as protocols, architectures, devices, topologies and standards. Ability to design and implement network solutions that meet the business and technical requirements of our customer. Moderate knowledge and experience of network security. Proficient in network automation. Proven experience in network systems configuration, testing & installations. About the Role Accountable to contribute to the investigation, diagnosis and resolution of network problems and provide advice on preventative strategies. Responsible to ensure all requests for support are dealt with and manage any outstanding problems in accordance with Defence and organisation standards, policies and procedures. Use experience to design and implement network changes and maintenance routines. Apply knowledge to explain and capitalise on the capabilities of current Defence and industry data, voice and audio networking devices and procedures. Build and sustain effective working relationships with team members and actively participate in teamwork and group activities. Facilitate appropriate direction for the team by clearly communicating goals and objectives. Interpret and comply with security policy and contribute to the development of standards and guidelines. Investigate and resolve network problems using expertise, taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of action. Design and recommend solutions to issues impacting on the achievement of desired outcomes. About Us Why work for Vertical Scope Group?
