We have an exciting opportunity within our team for an enthusiastic Key Accounts Administrator, reporting to the Director of Defence Control Systems. Summary of Job: The Key Account Administrator is responsible for maintaining existing accounts and managing new opportunities in assigned markets. The focal customers are the Australian Defence Force, Defence suppliers, and critical industrial machinery operators. The incumbent will generate sales by evaluating customers’ needs, providing solutions, proactively contacting current customers, and obtaining orders. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring orders are consistent with Moog’s proposals and reviewing customer terms and conditions before they are entered into the company’s business system. Key Accountabilities: Accountability of Sales and Bookings for the existing accounts. Manage the account for ongoing service support through:Liaison with the customer. Monitoring delivery lead times. Forecasting new work. Respond to customer inquiries (including technical, price, and order status). Deliver effective quotations and proposals to customers. Secure profitable orders, within the agreed pricing policy, and manage the commercial risk. Negotiate sales terms consistent with company objectives. Review customer orders and contracts with pertinent parties to assure Moog’s compliance with all specifications and terms. Develop intimate customer knowledge and long-term relationships with key customer personnel and create Moog champions out of customer personnel. Develop and maintain accurate forecast information to support active maintenance of sales and bookings forecasts. Continuous improvement through participation in projects and initiatives. Work Experience: Required3-5 years of commercial experience in a similar role. Understanding of basic finance and contracts. Good understanding of business processes, IT tools, Microsoft Office suite. Team player and proponent of the Moog company culture. AdvantageousDefence industry experience. Ability to read technical drawings. Defence veterans are welcome and would be an advantage, especially coming from the fleet management or technical field. Suitability: Ability to meet deadlines, manage time effectively, and work autonomously. Ability to occasionally attend forums, meetings, and calls outside of core hours aligned with other global sites’ time zones. Must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance. Must satisfy police checks and employment screening verification including employment reference checks.
