Position summary We have a rare opportunity for a 'Key Account Manager' based in Sydney to manage a portfolio of Major Water & Energy customers in Australia. This is a unique career opportunity, responsible for some of their largest and most complex clients which include major water utilities and global water solutions companies. Key Responsibilities Manage strategic accounts to deliver on sales targets (Revenue & Gross Margin). Foster account growth and identify new business opportunities. Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors. Conduct regular business reviews, prepare reports on account performance, assess customer needs and address concerns. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product management, quality, supply chain and customer service to ensure seamless delivery of products and services and exceptional customer experience. Stay up to date and informed on industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities to proactively identify potential threats and opportunities. Required experience Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Science or related discipline. Previous experience in a senior sales role within the water industry. Ability to engage collaboratively with all stakeholders and influence key decision makers to achieve significant results. Experience in contract management strategy and execution, for example, municipal water tender bids, negotiation and contract performance management.
