About your role We have a rare opportunity to join our industry leading commercial team as a Key Account Manager, responsible for our chemical products that we sell into the Mining industry. Based at either our Perth office or Kalgoorlie manufacturing site, and reporting into our Sales Manager, this high-profile role is responsible for our complex and successful customer base that will allow you to utilise your expertise in strategic relationships, whilst hunting new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities Manage strategic accounts to achieve sales targets. Foster account growth and identify new business opportunities Developing trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors Conduct regular business reviews, prepare reports on account performance, assess customer needs and address concerns Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product management, quality, supply chain and customer service to ensure seamless delivery of products and services and exceptional customer experience Stay up to date and informed on industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities to proactively identify potential threats and opportunities Identify and deliver substantial new business growth within your industry segment to improve business profitability Manage contracts to ensure compliance, timely extensions and maximise value for Ixom Who are we looking for?
