About the role: As part of our growth journey, we are looking for a talented Key Account Manager (VIC) to join our Autotrader Team. The Autotrader team is responsible for implementing our sales strategy and reporting on our performance. We drive commercial excellence across the motors organisation, to ensure we deliver value to our internal and external partners.This role works as part of a cross-functional, agile team where you’ll have the ability to create new features that engage and delight our customers. This isn’t just any job - it’s a career in a team and place that is committed to supporting your growth, where you will get to know our awesome customers, be supported with training and development and given the guided autonomy to solve problems and create new ways of doing things.What you’ll do: Create a positive customer experience by representing our brand with integrity, while establishing and maintaining business relationships that will significantly impact the customers’ perception of Autotrader Group. Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, and be the primary point of contact recommending solutions and opportunities based on their business needs, while empowering and helping them deliver a sustainable return on investment, and helping them become Autotrader Group advocates. Keep up to date with Autotrader Group’s product applications, technical services, market conditions, advertising and market trends and utilise the knowledge gained to educate your customers. In addition to growing a pipeline and bringing your network with you, you’ll work to achieve and exceed the quarterly sales targets/metrics set as part of this role. Understand site performance in key area sectors and accounts, while ensuring the visitation cycle for the Area is mapped and completed every 3 months, along with making sure service levels are maintained, and finally ensuring the entire product portfolio is pitched to existing clients in line with their business needs. What you’ll bring: Previous experience in our industry (automotive sales) would be highly beneficial, or experience as an Account Manager who has a track record in selling to customers. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal and the ability to present across all mediums (face-to-face, video, phone), you will have experience in presenting to clients and can talk to this. Interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building long-lasting relationships built on trust and integrity and the ability to influence and negotiate. The ability to provide exceptional customer service and sales excellence to all of our customers. You understand how to read and interpret industry data and can easily provide insights to customers and build your own research and reporting to help you close deals. The mindset and approach of a self-starter with enthusiasm, adaptability, and motivation showcasing a demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative, while also being able to work in a team environment. Salesforce experience is an advantage; if not, you would have used a CRM in previous roles and understand the importance of updating it and using a system.
