We are seeking a Key Account Manager to join our team, overseeing the implementation and management of key initiatives for a pharmaceutical client. About the role: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stakeholder management, project management, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. The ability to drive progress and ensure the effective execution of various projects across multiple business units will be critical for success. This role will require effective communication with client sponsors, resolution of project disputes, and leadership in tracking key metrics. The Key Account Manager will be instrumental in delivering high-quality results and strengthening client relationships. Role & Responsibilities: Act as the primary liaison between AXE Health Services entities and the pharmaceutical partner, ensuring alignment with commercial goals and strategic priorities. Build and nurture trusted relationships with key stakeholders across all AXE entities and the partner organization, including senior leadership, to foster collaboration. Proactively manage client expectations, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within scope. Lead the tracking and reporting of progress of key projects and initiatives against established metrics, timelines, and budget. Monitor and evaluate the performance of AXE’s services within the partnership, providing recommendations for continuous improvement. Identify risks and issues proactively and implement mitigating actions, ensuring smooth project delivery. Enable operational excellence by streamlining processes, removing barriers, and ensuring alignment of resources. Coordinate and integrate the efforts of Farmaforce, Praxhub, PharmaPrograms, and Wellness to deliver cohesive, aligned, and impactful outcomes. Lead regular meetings with clients and internal teams to provide updates and address any challenges or bottlenecks. Provide feedback and insights from clients to internal teams to inform product or service improvements. Act as the lead point of contact for any escalated client issues, coordinating with internal teams to resolve problems in a timely and effective manner. Collaborate with clients to identify challenges and proactively provide solutions to ensure continued satisfaction and success. Mediate between entities to reconcile priorities, manage expectations, and maintain strong collaborative relationships. Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders, translating complex information into actionable insights. Prepare and deliver presentations for monthly/quarterly financial reports and status updates to internal and external stakeholders, showcasing progress, performance against key metrics, and results. Prepare comprehensive reports for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), ensuring accurate tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs), progress against objectives, and budget adherence. Develop and execute account plans that align AXE’s offerings with the partner’s business needs, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth. Anticipate future trends in engagement models, omnichannel marketing, and value-based healthcare, aligning the partnership with evolving industry dynamics. Skills & Experience: Demonstrates a forward-thinking mindset with the ability to anticipate industry shifts and translate them into actionable strategies for the partnership. Builds trust-based relationships across diverse groups, balancing competing priorities while ensuring mutual value delivery. Possesses exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas clearly, foster understanding, and align stakeholders. Thrives in ambiguity, quickly adapting to changing circumstances while maintaining focus on long-term objectives. Knowledge of Omnichannel Engagement models to drive effective communication and value delivery. Deep understanding of the Australian healthcare system, pharmaceutical industry, and evolving engagement models, including digital and omnichannel solutions. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in key account management or a similar role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
