Position : Fixed Term (30 June 2025), Full Time Location : Morwell Salary : $85,120 - $91,586 plus superannuation and salary package The Organisation The Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency (VACCA) is an Aboriginal Community-Controlled organisation that supports and advocates for the Aboriginal Community and is the largest organisation of its kind in Australia. About the role The Case Manager will play an integral role in diverting Aboriginal women from further contact with the criminal justice system, by delivering and coordinating intensive case management to a caseload of up to 15 Aboriginal women. About You Diploma or relevant experience in Community Service Demonstrated commitment and understanding for the values that underpin VACCA’s vision and purpose Proven ability to work effectively with the local Aboriginal community. Understanding of the underlying issues that contribute to Aboriginal women’s contact with the justice system. Knowledge of the service system and resources available to support Aboriginal women in contact with the justice system. Well-developed planning and organisational skills. Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and liaising with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal organisations to achieve project objectives and goals. Demonstrated experience in coordinating and delivering effective advice, support, and services to Aboriginal women. Requirements: Current COVID-19 vaccination (including booster dose, as applicable), a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain), and a Victorian Driver Licence.
