About our team Group Manager Legal | Legal Strategy & Services | Legal Systems & Tribunal Liaison Section The LEGEND Team supports visa decision-makers, ABF officers, and registered migration agents by maintaining the LEGEND database of migration and citizenship legislation, policy, and procedural instructions. The team is responsible for ensuring LEGEND contains up-to-date content, liaising with relevant content contributors, managing LEGENDcom subscriptions, training system users, providing system support, and the coordination of the LEGENDcom helpdesk service. Our ideal candidate Familiarity with SharePoint/HTML Demonstrated leadership experience Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail Content writing would be beneficial An understanding of the Department's legislation and policy framework would be beneficial Duties and responsibilities Ensure LEGEND content is up to date by coordinating and contributing to the drafting and publishing of content Team workload planning and management including reassigning of tasks where needed to ensure delivery of stacks and other tasks Ensure LEGEND related enquiries are effectively managed and investigate resolution of complex issues Develop and deliver LEGEND training and supporting materials to small and large audiences Identify areas for system and process improvement and lead the implementation of solutions How to apply Submit your application and CV through the Home Affairs’ recruitment system (ourPeople) before the closing date on 12/03/2025 at 11:59pm (midnight) AEDT – Late applications will not be accepted. Home Affairs Workers will also be required to obtain and maintain an Onboarding Check. In certain circumstances, an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC) may be required in addition to, or in lieu of, an Onboarding Check, which will be determined by the delegate as necessary.
