Working within a new state of the art facility with hi-tech tools and equipment needed to complete daily scheduled duties. Our team carry out vehicle fitments (in-house, dealerships, holding yards, local businesses), deliver and also onforward products both interstate and to remote locations.ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an open, accountable and self-driven leader to join our team and create positive relationships and communication amongst key stakeholders and team members. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the depot; including managing, leading and motivating the team whilst driving system and process improvements to increase operation efficiencies on the site. Reporting directly to the Triple M Services Manager, the successful applicant will be the primary point of contact for the depot: Coordinating and participating in daily product pre-assembly and fitment services. Coordination and supervision of the day-to-day operations; including quality, productivity and safety. Oversee the operation of paint booths, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and high daily output. Regular stock management and reporting to company management in QLD on all facets of depot operations. Overseeing other product distribution, to customers in the region and also those accessed via rural freight onforwarding. Warehouse and equipment upkeep. Communication and development of the team’s skills and capabilities. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals that possess skills and experience in the following areas:Previous location/branch/site management experience is a must. Applicants with automotive, manufacturing or engineering work experience will be highly regarded. A willingness to divide work time between office-based duties and having an active presence on the production floor. Previous experience managing paint booths and familiarity with paint processes is highly regarded. Well-developed communication and time-management skills – both in written form (clear, concise, accurate) and verbally (open, honest, accountable, compassionate). Availability to work between 6:00 am to 3:30 pm from Monday to Friday. Some reasonable additional hours may be required during busy periods. An ability to positively and proactively promote our company’s key values ofQuality, Efficiency, Safety and Service. Current manual driver’s license – a must. Current VIC forklift licence –highly regarded . A current resume, with a minimum of two recent referees.
